About the Role

The Administration Assistant will support the work of the Learning and Development (L&D) Team by providing proactive, high level administrative support. This role requires an experienced, confident, and forward-thinking individual with an ability to manage administration duties to a high standard and an empathy for primary education.

With the Multi Academy Trust of 60 primary schools, the Training & Development Team offers outstanding training opportunities for teachers and all support staff. The Administration Assistant will help to support all our training administration needs, whether its for staff who are just starting their teaching careers through national School Direct PGCE and Teaching Apprenticeship programmes or through specific CPD training to develop and enhance staff skills and knowledge and developing them to undertake their daily activities in their work.

The Administration Assistant is a permanent role reporting to the Learning & Development Coordinator supporting our growing training team and will also work with the Head of Learning & Development and National ITT Lead to provide an excellent support and administrative service, including,
• supporting marketing, recruitment and selection of trainee teachers
• registering events and data inputting to the L&D system
• administration of the ITT system
• supporting the applicant tracking and liaising with national, cluster and local ITT leads
• registration and tracking delegate attendance at events
• coordinating and supporting large scale events and programmes
• supporting the training evaluation processes
• coordination of L&D newsletters and marketing information
• administration of the Apprenticeship Digital Admin System (DAS)
• Monitoring and reporting on compliance training

To be successful in this role you will be:
• an experienced and confident administrator, conscientious and able to work on own initiative
• diligent, with an eye for the detail
• an effective communicator with the ability to work as part of a team and build effective professional relationships
• adept in the use of MS Office 365, particularly Excel, Word, Teams and Outlook
• able to travel to training and conference events
