OUR APPROACH

We value the contribution of every single member of our REAch2 family, and know the importance of learning from, sharing best practice with, and being supportive to one another.

We are also committed to an ethos of continuing professional development for every one of our staff, improving their expertise and making sure they are making as significant an impact as possible. We place heavy emphasis on excellent pedagogy for teaching staff, offering learning and training opportunities at a school, cluster, and national, level.

Whether you are joining us as an ECT, an experienced teacher, a member of school leadership, or in a vital support staff role, we want to support and invest in you at every stage of your career.

TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT

We have one of the best CPD offerings of any Trust or school, which we are always building on.

Reach Teach Primary Partnership

We offer high-quality CPD through REAch Teach (our in-house training provider) in pedagogy, behaviour management, and curriculum development, as well as mentor development programmes specifically aimed at supporting the needs of early career teachers. These programmes run throughout the year and are role-specific to make sure you are receiving the most specific support possible, organised by specialists in this area.

Accredited Training Programmes

In partnership with external organisations, we provide accredited and bespoke training programmes including Apprenticeships, NPQML, NPQSL, NPQH and Specialist Leader in Education (SLE). We also offer Mental Health First Aiders through the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health.

Coaching and Mentoring

We offer Coaching and Mentoring, delivered by our own in-house specialists. This typically offers an opportunity for reflection and the development of greater insight into the individual’s self-awareness, self-management and personnel management skillset. Find out more by clicking here.

Augmented Experiences

Aside from formal training and support opportunities, we have crafted a package of augmenting experiences designed to enrich our professional development offer. These are opportunities to develop your role in new areas and are based in a practical school context.

Supporting and Sharing Best Practice

As part of the REAch2 family, you will be both supported and challenged to reach new heights, working in partnership with your peers from across the country to make a real impact and receiving our Good to Great Training package. You’ll also have the chance to show off your own skills as well as learn from others at conferences, internal training sessions, and our national support networks.

Generous Holiday Allowance

As a member of REAch2’s support services staff you will receive 28 days plus 8 Public Holidays. After 5 years’ service or relevant previous service as determined by your line manager, your leave entitlement will increase to 31 days plus 8 Public Holidays.

Competitive Pension Scheme

All employees can be part of the either the Teacher’s Pension Scheme or a Local Government Average Salary (LGPS) pension scheme - benefits include life cover, lower tax, survivor benefits, and ill health cover.

STAFF WELLBEING RESOURCES

We think of REAch2 as a family, not just an employer.

Flexible Working

REAch2 offer flexible working to their employees. Please consult with the department you are applying to and find out what they can do for you.

Expenses and Travel Costs

We remunerate our staff for incurred expenses and travel costs when asked to work outside of the normal work environment. This is in line with our Staff Expense Policy.

Free Counselling Service

You will have access to a free confidential counselling service through our Employee Assistance Programme. Available to all employees, to lend a sympathetic ear, offer practical advice and provide professional counselling on a wide range of work-related, personal or family problems.
