We are constantly seeking enthusiastic and dedicated people to work with us and join our trust as volunteers. We are searching for individuals from all walks of life who are interested in helping us make a real difference to the education prospects and futures of children.

SCHOOL BASED VOLUNTEERING

If you are interested in volunteering at a REAch2 school, please contact the Headteacher or school administration directly as they will be able to talk to you about the skills that you can offer and their own school circumstances. The details of each of the REAch2 academies can be found in our School Directory.

LOCAL GOVERNORS IN REACH2 SCHOOLS

When we recruit governors to our local governing bodies, we look for people who can bring a range of skills and experience to the position.  Many of our existing governors have working backgrounds in finance, law, HR, education, marketing and other areas.

However, it is just as important that governors bring a willingness to be active members of the school community, participate in events in the life of the school, support and be part of the school leadership and challenge and scrutinise plans, strategies and ways of working.

In return, we offer training and induction, access to support and resources through our electronic meeting management system, and a way to gather experience of debate, discussion, and decision making conducted for the benefit of children in our schools.

If you are interested in becoming a local governor with a REAch2 school, please complete and submit an application via the Local Governors/Cluster Board Non-Executives advert on our vacancies page

CLUSTER BOARD NON-EXECUTIVE REPRESENTATIVES

For those of you who have experience of Board level work and skills that are at a strategic level in your organisation, we also have vacancies on our Cluster Board.  These boards have oversight of a group of up to 8 schools and their local governing bodies and focus on issues such as risk and opportunities for growth.  Members already serving have backgrounds in strategic finance, management of larger organisations and often, the experience of working with large budgets and managing teams of people.

If you are interested in becoming a Cluster Board Non-Executive Representatives with REAch2, please complete and submit an application via the Local Governors/Cluster Board Non-Executives advert on our vacancies page.
