Marc Dench is an accomplished finance professional with more than 25 years of leadership experience across public, private, and private equity-backed businesses. A Chartered Accountant with an MBA from the Sauder School of Business in Vancouver, Marc has built his career on combining technical financial expertise with commercial acumen, transformation leadership, and governance excellence.

He has held senior board-level roles at well-known organisations including Ted Baker, Joules, Alliance Boots (now Walgreens Boots Alliance), and the UK holiday park operator, Away Resorts. Throughout his career, Marc has overseen finance functions delivering complex transformations, large-scale restructurings, mergers and acquisitions, and domestic & international expansion. He has consistently helped organisations modernise the finance functions, implement digital systems, strengthen governance, and deliver sustainable growth.

Marc’s work has often extended beyond finance, with leadership spanning supply chain, property, legal, IT, logistics, investor relations, and people development. He is known for his ability to simplify complex challenges, build strong teams, and create clear insight to support decision-making.

In addition to his corporate career, Marc served as a Trustee of Drinkaware, where he chaired the Finance & HR Committee. Passionate about giving back, Marc is committed to supporting initiatives that promote wellbeing, education, and opportunity for all.
