
David Clark combines senior corporate leadership with over 15 years of experience in education governance. He is currently a Solution Director at Serco and previously held the same role at Capita, where he worked with government departments including the Department for Education, Ministry of Justice, MOD and Home Office. Over the years he has designed large-scale public service operations, bringing together people, process and technology to deliver complex programmes at national scale.
In education services, David has shaped the delivery of major national programmes such as the Early Career Framework, Turing Scheme and NPQ reform. In this capacity he has integrated innovative digital platforms and helped widen participation for disadvantaged groups.
David’s governance experience spans both maintained and academy sectors, including four years as a REAch2 cluster non-executive and Chair. He focuses on driving improvement through effective governance, data-led insight and strategic challenge.
Based in Birmingham, he holds a postgraduate certificate in leadership and innovation from Newcastle Business School and works to advance social justice and harness technology to improve educational outcomes.
