REAch2 Academy Trust has been recognised nationally at the MAT Excellence Awards, receiving Highly Commended recognition in both the Transformation and Impact category and the Staff Development (13+ Schools) category.

The awards celebrate excellence across the multi-academy trust sector and recognise organisations making a significant difference for children, colleagues and communities.

The Highly Commended recognition for Staff Development reflects REAch2's commitment to ensuring every colleague has access to high-quality professional learning and development. Through apprenticeships, NPQs, initial teacher training, leadership development and a wide range of learning opportunities, the Trust continues to invest in its people so that they can thrive in their roles and careers.

The Highly Commended recognition for Transformation and Impact acknowledges REAch2's sustained work in supporting schools to improve outcomes for children and communities. Since its formation in 2012, the Trust has worked alongside schools facing significant challenges, providing the support, expertise and stability needed to create long-term improvement and stronger futures for children.

Cathie Paine CBE, CEO of REAch2 Academy Trust, said:

"We are delighted that the work of colleagues across REAch2 has been recognised in this way. These commendations reflect the collective effort of people across our schools and central teams who work every day to improve opportunities and outcomes for children.

What makes this recognition particularly meaningful is that it acknowledges both the development of our people and the impact we are having in our schools. The two are intrinsically linked. Great schools are built by great people, and investing in our colleagues is one of the most important things we can do for the children we serve.

My congratulations go to all trusts, schools and colleagues recognised through this year's awards. It is encouraging to see so much inspiring work being celebrated across the sector."
