The Role 

We are looking for an exceptional senior leader who can build on Burrsville’s strengths and drive our school to even greater success. As the Headteacher, you will lead, motivate, and inspire our dedicated team of staff and governors to ensure that every child receives an outstanding education. You will have a clear understanding of what it takes to maintain a ‘Good’ judgement and the skills to lead the school to an ‘Outstanding’ outcome. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Lead, motivate, develop, and inspire a team of passionate educators 
  • Drive continuous improvement and raise academic standards 
  • Ensure the delivery of a broad, rich, and diverse curriculum 
  • Foster a culture of community engagement and outreach 
  • Provide pastoral care for all members of the school community 

Requirements: 

  • Experience as a Headteacher or Deputy Headteacher 
  • Passion, drive, and enthusiasm for education 
  • Clear understanding of school improvement strategies 
  • Ability to manage workload, show flexibility, and resilience 
  • Commitment to community engagement and outreach
